P2

P2

P2 is all about getting your pre-production documents ready before filming.

They need to be ready so that you can do a good job and not waste time on set.

The order of tasks is as follows

Once you know the track you're making, you need to get some ideas together as to what would make the best music video. Sign this off with the artist if possible (and the teacher).

Do a moodboard to share with the group, to get an idea of the feel of the track.

Watch music videos in the genre. How many shots are in the first minute? A lot!

Do a treatment with synopsis.

Write your script.

Separate your key scenes and do a shot list for each.

Decide when you will film.

Film & upload footage.

Review footage.

Retake footage if needed, or do a new shot list.
